Carers demand urgent action from government on a sector in crisis

London-based unpaid carers have visited Downing Street to personally deliver a letter to new Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

There has been unanimous support for the need for change from the All-Party Parliamentary Group of Carers so the letter calls for urgent and decisive action to address the challenges caters are currently facing.

It also recommends the significant steps that the Government can take to ensure they are properly recognised and supported over the next five years.
