Councils Fight against Heathrow Expansion Plans

Heathrow campaigners gathered outside the High Court in March 2019, as a legal challenge over the third runway began inside. The Mayor and several councils have brought the case against the government which approved the development of the third runway. They argued expansion will make life worse for millions of Londoners by increasing pollution and noise.
