Dom Joly teams up with Tesco Mobile & the Trussell Trust to provide free data to those who need it
The impact of screen time is well documented, but what about digital exclusion?
We seldom discuss how a lack of internet access, or a mobile phone, can impact our wellbeing. As the price of essentials continue to soar, families are being caught between keeping themselves fed, warm or online.
According to Tesco mobile over half of adults admitting that if it wasn’t for their phone, they would hardly communicate.
They’ve partnered with charity the Trussell Trust to help tackle digital exclusion, pledging to connect 50,000 more people facing hardship.
Comedian Dom Joly has joined the campaign and took part in an experiment to see if he could disconnect.
