Charity raises awareness of Hygiene Poverty

This week is National Hygiene Week, and many charities are shining a light on the worsening issue of hygiene poverty in London.

From period products and body wash to detergent and toothpaste – the latest numbers show 1 in 5 adults are struggling to afford the basics.

The charity In Kind Direct are trying to bridge the gap and believe no one should have to choose between heating, eating, and keeping clean.

London Live spoke to the director of In Kind Direct, Marc Greene.
