Football club’s centenary celebrations marred by Coronavirus

Hampton & Richmond Borough Football Club are excited to celebrate the club’s 100 Year anniversary in May.

Despite the easing of lockdown measures, Hampton & Richmond Borough Football Club won’t be celebrating it with league football.

The European Super League has dominated the sporting headlines recently but the club certainly hasn’t forgotten its roots.

The club have been helping those in need in the area through volunteers, winning a Richmond Council Community Award.

Hampton & Richmond Borough Football Club were close to getting a shot at entering the national league with promotion but the season finished early for a second successive season – and cut short any chance to celebrate a century of football
