Angela Rippon on the importance of staying connected and her gruelling Strictly training schedule

A new study commissioned to help better understand the impact of technology on older people has found having access to a smart speaker at home can reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness.

AbilityNet, a charity that helps individuals with any disability commissioned the study as well as the help of broadcasting legend Angela Rippon who joined James to speak about how they can act as a gateway to open up the older generation to more human contact.

We also heard about her gruelling training schedule as she reveals she spends 6 hours a day practising with partner Kai Widdrington.
