New play ‘Breeding’ explores queer parenthood

Starting a family is arguably one of the most exciting and life changing decisions. But in a world of heteronormativity, for the LGBT+ community it comes with additional challenges.

Shadia spoke to writer Barry Mcstay, who is bringing a queer lens to family life in the play about a gay couple navigating through the exhausting journey of parenthood.

Breeding is on until the 14th April at the King’s Head Theatre.
