Competition to reimagine the Square Mile now open

There is an an open call for architects, artists and designers to reimagine the Square Mile in the capital.

The London Festival of Architecture and the City of London Business Improvement Districts are looking for a trail through the area.

The aim is to make the city more welcoming through something they are calling – public realm initiatives.

It’s all part of the 20th anniversary celebrations for the London Festival of Architecture.

All applications must submitted by midday on the 9th January.

I spoke to Benjamin O’Connor from New London Architecture to find out more.
