Fragments: New play questions our memory’s ability to accurately piece together reality

When our memory fails us, we tend to try and fill in the gaps – and always get it slightly wrong.

Fragments is a new show inspired by just half a scene of a lost Euripedes play, and is exploring exactly that.

Starting at the Playground Theatre this Friday (April 14) it uses Papyrus, shadow puppetry and offstage action to highlight the fractured nature of memory.

The production searches for how we create our own ‘truth’ from scraps of information.

Henry spoke to the siblings behind the show.
