‘I would rather look at you’ – A poem for London by Tife Kusoro
The British-Nigerian writer, Tife Kusoro, was commissioned by The Poetry Society and Illuminated River Foundation to write a new ‘poem for London.’
‘I would rather look at you’ describes a night time journey from London Bridge to Lambeth Bridge, celebrating the beauty of the river.
We spoke about London, inspiration and what Tife hopes the reader will take away with them when they hear or read the poem.
