Iconic East London grassroots music venue fundraising £75,000 to survive

An iconic grassroots music venue in East London is in danger of closing down.

Luna, has been at the heart of the Leytonstone community since 2004, but are now raising £75,000 to survive.

It’s to pay off debts, conduct essential maintenance and most importantly transition to a Community Interest Company (CIC) to ensure long term sustainability.

Well I’ve been speaking to the owner Declan about the fundraiser.

And if you’d like to donate, then search for Save Luna on Crowdfunder or you can go to their website – lunalivemusic.com.
