‘Life is overtaking me’ exhibition looks at anxiety up close
‘Life is overtaking me’. Four words that could perhaps work as a mantra for millennial’s – is also the title of a new exhibition by the artist Joe Cheetham. His style of almost caricature portraits of young people – exaggerates their eyes to try and get a sense of anxiety felt from the subjects in the works. The pieces are on at the Annka Kulty’s gallery in east London and we went down to speak to Joe about what he’s trying to tap into.
