London director’s short film makes it to the Oscar shortlist 2024
London director and actor Elham Ehsas’s short film ‘Yellow’ has been Oscar shortlisted and Bafta long-listed.
Elham, who also stars in the short film, was born in Afghanistan but left the country as a child.
He says he wants his short film to bring attention back to the women and girls of Afghanistan, which fell back under Taliban rule in 2021.
Simon spoke with him while as was at Heathrow airport, waiting for a flight to Los Angeles!
