New sculpture celebrating the beauty of healing unveiled at UCL

Celebrating the beauty of healing and reflecting on two years of the pandemic, artist Bouke de Vries has revealed a new sculpture.

Known for seeing beauty in broken objects, the piece called ‘Fragments of Memory’ celebrates human resilience with a focus on Japanese history.

He’s been speaking to Tanya bout the piece unveiled at the Japanese garden on UCL’s Bloomsbury Campus.
