Star of new Apple TV+ drama Liaison on his journey from teaching to acting
Apple TV+ has a new spy thriller out, set in the capital.
Liaison stars the iconic French actor Vincent Cassel and Eva green, best known as the leading lady in Casino Royale.
Cassel plays a former French Spy who reconvenes with old flame Green, an intelligence agent in London, and they become embroiled in understanding a terrorist plot.
One of the show’s stars is Mohammed Kamel. Having taken up acting late, this is his second big role after featuring in the latest series of The Crown as Dodi Fayed’s Uncle.
His story is a rare one – a second generation immigrant who works teaching English where he lives in Wembley, to those who have arrived in London looking to learn the language.
