Stars of Avatar sequel featured in art exhibit fundraiser
We’ve been hearing from Hawaii-based artist Christy Lee Rogers, who has gained a particular reputation for working with water.
Her work caught the attention of James Cameron, the director of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ – who approached Christy to do a special shoot with the film’s cast, in the hope that the artworks will raise millions of dollars to help protect the oceans.
100% of the net proceeds from sales has been earmarked for The Nature Conservancy to protect 10 marine species and their habitats
The artist agency called ‘A Gallery’ based in London is the only gallery worldwide involved in the handling and sales of these specially commissioned works – so we heard from Christy about what inspires her to work with water.
