Sue Glover’s ‘The Straw Chair’ at the Finborough theatre
Life on the outer hebrides in the 18th century has been brought to the Finborough theatre for the English Premiere of Sue Glover’s ‘The Straw Chair’.
The production tells the true story of Lady Rachel Grange, who was imprisoned by her husband on a remote island. It explores themes of female imprisonment and justice as you might imagine.
Tanya has been speaking to the actress and Royal Shakespeare Company Associate Artist Siobhan Redmond who stars as ‘Grange’.
