The Art Review: Kusama, Levitt and Estes

In this week’s Art Review, James Nicholls explores Tate Modern’s new exhibition dedicated to Yayoi Kusama.

Considered one of Japan’s most important living artists, the year-long showcase includes two special immersive mirror-room installations.

James also looks at the work of Helen Levitt in a new retrospective exhibition at The Photographers’ Gallery, and he tells us about the celebrated American artist Richard Estes, who is having his first major UK show at the Newport Street Gallery.
