The Plant Hunter, a book on the horticultural history of Chelsea

The Kings Road in Chelsea was a very different place to how it is today back in the times of Queen Victoria.

Back then, it was filled with plant nurseries to cater for the obsession with rare and exotic flora.

This part of history has formed the basis for a new adventure story, tracing those who bravely went in search of finding new and exciting plants.

The Plant Hunter is the work of Thomas Mogford who comes from a long line of Horticulturalists and the book is out now.
