‘The Skatebook’ nominated in BFI Future Film Festival
Next week is the BFI Future Film Festival hosted in London, so we’ll be featuring some of the Londoners nominated.
‘The Skatebook’ is the creation of animator Sofia Negri after she started skateboarding in lockdown.
After seeing how wholesome and diverse the London community was, Sofia wanted to showcase it with an animated film which is now up for best documentary at the festival.
The festival is for aspiring filmmakers aged 16 to 25 will be taking place at BFI Southbank from 15 to 18 February.
