Using poetry to inspire and empower young girls from London
Poet and mental health advocate Charly Cox has teamed up with ‘The Girls Network’ Charity to help launch ‘The Empowerium‘.
The pop up shop and event space hopes to help raise money to support girls from 14-19 from the least advantaged communities across London.
Tanya spoke to Charly Cox and Charly Young about the event which is open until 10 December and the poetry workshop on the 8 December where they hope to inspire girls to write a love letter to the women they feel empowered by.
