Winning play of 2020 Papatango New Writing Prize opens at the Bush Theatre
The play which beat 1500 other entrants to win the 2020 Papatango New Writing Prize has opened at the Bush Theatre with it’s press night taking place on the 27 October.
‘Old Bridge’, from British-Bosnian writer Igor Memic follows a teenage romance and the impact of war. The play is set in the town where Igor lived as a child and the bridge that connects the two halves of the city of Mostar.
Igor has been speaking to Alicia about the piece on at the Bush Theatre until the 20th November.
