1 in 10 Londoners earning under £20,000 have less than £3 per day to spend on food

A YouGov survey of Londoners earning less than £20,000 has revealed that one in ten have less than £3 per day to spend on food.

The research was taken out in conjunction with The Felix Project, a London charity that redistributes surplus food to those who need it.

The charity’s CEO Charlotte Hill says some parents are already skipping meals or avoiding turning on their ovens to save on energy bills.
