1 in 3 women lack confidence to start a business

A new study from Virgin Start-Up has found that 1 in 3 women said a lack of confidence would stop them from starting a business – versus only 18% of men who said the same.

Though many women say they want to be their own boss and owning a business is a lifelong dream, family issues and how they may be perceived as a leader is still getting in the way.

We spoke to Londoner Lola Cawood, the co-founder of Tiwani Heritage, about finding the confidence to leave a 9 to 5, and set up her own sustainable hair extension business.
