‘Conversations From Calais’: The new book sharing the voices of the silenced and ignored

To mark World Refugee Day – a new book telling the stories of those in the Calais jungle is being published.

‘Conversations From Calais’ was set up by Mathilda back in 2019 and they’re now releasing a book of the same name sharing chats their volunteers have had with migrants met in the French City.

They want to share the voices of those who are so often silenced or ignored – those who are yet to reach the UK.

Well Henry spoke to Mathilda about why setting up the group was so important for her.
