Dame Emma Thompson and the cast of ‘Matilda the Musical’
Roald Dahl’s much-loved tale of Matilda has once again arrived on the big screen.
This version of the story is a cinematic re-telling of the West End stage show from Tim Minchin, which has been entertaining London audiences for more than a decade and has long been tipped to be adapted for the screen.
The film stars Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull, Stephen Graham as Matilda’s father, as well as newcomer, Alisha Weir in the title role.
