Dr Dawn Harper on the ‘Bus-ting cancer tour’
This week sees the NHS launch the ‘Bus-ting cancer tour’ it’s an NHS branded double decker bus that will visit the five areas of the UK with the lowest early cancer diagnosis rates.
The tour finishes in London on Friday.
Over half of people in the capital worry about cancer every few months, but often delay going to the GP because they don’t want to hear bad news and simply hope symptoms go away on their own.
Dr Dawn Harper’s been telling Paul more about the campaign.
The bus will be next to Stratford Station from 10am until 4pm on Friday, there’s also a pop-up you can visit at the East London Mosque on Friday afternoon.
