Empowering Londoners to saves lives through CPR training
With 73,000 people suffering a cardiac arrest each year in the UK, so there is a chance you may have to save someone’s life.
Well Londoners and people further afield are being empowered to save lives with the offer of free CPR training. With just 51% saying they would feel confident in responding to a family member suffering a cardiac arrest, the lifesaving equivalent of neighbourhood watch will provide CPR training and defibrillation awareness.
Well Sarah spoke to James Cant, the CEO of Resuscitation Council UK to found out why the sessions are being put on and why there is a drive to educate people now.
