The moment we’ve all been waiting for – as the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces that he will go to the country on 4 July, the battle begins for your vote.
Parties have wasted no time kicking off their campaigns today. The election is coming much sooner than had been expected, surprising and even upsetting some within the Tory ranks.
The Conservatives are behind Labour in the opinion polls by 20 percentage points. And here in the capital, the picture is even more dramatic – Labour dominate with two thirds of seats currently red.
