Jules Hudson on how farms need better connectivity to survive and thrive
New research has found that having better digitally connected farms could increase revenues, provide more rural jobs and be part of the solution for the decline in the British agricultural industry.
Virgin Media O2 who have done the research alongside Presenter and countryman Jules Hudson found better connectivity could help with everything from monitoring soil, to even being able to alert farmers that their gates have been left open and even track a stray sheep.
Tanya has been speaking with Jules to understand more about the growing challenges facing the industry and how they think they’re found a solution.
