Kew scientists name new tree after Leonardo DiCaprio

Scientists from Kew gardens have named a tree they discovered in lockdown after a famous actor who has helped with it’s conservation.

Uvariopsis Dicaprio, the tropical tree honouring Leonardo DiCaprio is found in the Ebo Forest in Cameroon.

Tanya spoke to one of the lead researchers at Kew Gardens about the tree.
