Life changing ‘Walking Football’ group for Parkinson’s sufferers in Watford
Nick Light was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in his 40’s.
It’s a condition that affects mobility and can cause pain.
But through a love of football, he founded Fighting Fit – an organisation that encourages ‘walking football’ to help people with Parkinson’s keep fit and social.
Nick spoke to us about how Watford Leisure Centre, in conjunction with Watford Council, have launched new weekly Walking Football sessions.
Sessions are running from April – October 2023.
