London Assembly Crossrail concerns as unveiling nears

The London Assembly Transport Committee has penned a letter to Mark Wild, Chief Executive of Crossrail, flagging a number of issues it believes need to be addressed.

Amongst them is the issue of Omicron causing staff absences and how that could impact it’s running on the new line set to open 3 years late and hugely over budget.

Liberal Democrat Caroline Pidgeon, Chair of the Transport Committee, spoke to James.

She also touched upon the scandal surrounding Boris Johnson – having spent nearly 6 years holding him to account whilst he was mayor.
