Muslim women breaking down barriers to get more Londoners cycling
The Cycle Sisters are a Muslim womens’ cycle group charity, set up to break down barriers and provide Muslim women with a safe space to exercise and make friends.
A 2018 TfL study showed that half of Londoners ‘didn’t think cycling was for them’ – the London Assembly Health Committee are looking to the work of Cycle Sisters to see how accessibility to bike riding can be improved across the capital.
Paul went along to Valentine’s Park in Redbridge to meet the group and find out more.
