New campaign calls for crackdown on dangerous pavement parking

A new campaign is being launched, calling on the government to crack down on dangerous pavement parking.

Guide Dogs, the leading UK charity for people with sight loss have started a petition to introduce national restrictions to ensure everyone can walk the streets safely.

85% of people know pavement parking impacts the safety of visually impaired pedestrians with 70% of councillors said it’s a problem in their area.

London Live’s Henry has been speaking to the charity and Paul Clayton – who is visually impaired about the daily challenges he faces, even if he has to pop to the shops.
