NSPCC say online child abuse image crime has rocketed over the last 5 years
The charity the NSCPCC have uncovered some shocking revelations about an increase in child abuse image crimes online over the past five years in London.
Metropolitan Police data, revealed through a Freedom of Information request shows a 163% jump in half a decade.
The NSPCC say online child abuse becoming “normalised” and urges the Government to commit to a statutory child safety advocate in Online Safety Bill.
