NSPCC warns of the child abuse crimes on the rise in London, asking the government to act quickly
The NSPCC has warned that 250 online child abuse crimes in London are taking place every month, and have urged the government to act quickly and prioritize the new online safety bill, aiming to keep children safe on the internet.
The NSPCC first secured the commitment to regulate social media four years ago in a bid to combat what they call the inaction of big social media platforms but has since been pushed back and last week was delayed even further due to the leadership election.
