Parents told to learn B.L.U.E acronym to help children struggling with mental health as stats indicate a crisis
Blue Monday is the so called most miserable day of the year.
And given the myriad of crises facing the country and the capital – we are now in the midst of a mental health emergency across the nation.
According to NHS data analysed by the PA Agency, we’ve seen a 39% increase in hospital admissions for children with serious mental illness.
Mental health expert Lily-Jo and founder of The Lily-Jo Project has come up with an apt acronym to help parents: BLUE.
She joined James and gave some vital tips for any parent noticing the signs of a child struggling with their mental health.
