‘Sappho’ play depicting the life of the original lesbian comes to Southwark Playhouse
For those who may not know, Sappho an icon for her poetry- was one of the first feminists and lesbians in existence with the words ‘sapphic and lesbian originating from her name and home island of Lesbos.
