Sickle cell treatment urgently needs approval says sufferers
A new treatment that could provide a cure for Sickle cell disease affecting the blood has been deemed ‘not cost effective’ and therefore has not been recommended for use within the NHS . But all is not lost as there is a chance for this to be reversed, as a review of this decision is approaching. the sickle cell community are desperate for this treatment to be approved and rolled out.
