Students protesting Goldsmiths University’s stance on Gaza conflict mark one month of occupation in a building on their campus

A group of students at Goldsmiths, University of London, have now occupied a major building on their campus for more than a month.

Protesting the university management’s stance on the war in Gaza, the group – called Goldsmiths for Palestine – have already been able to force concessions and commitments from the university, including getting them to condemn Israel’s actions in Gaza, and extending the number of Palestinian scholarships offered.

The Goldsmiths for Palestine group were holding what they called a victory rally today – although they say their action won’t finish here.
