Teacher shortages in the borough of Havering

A school principal from East London has taken on the challenge of resolving teacher shortages in his area by heading to Australia to recruit from the talent pool there. Stuart McLaughlin went out there looking to find English, Maths and Science teachers for the 94 schools in the The London Borough of Havering.

He’s been speaking to Tanya about how the trip – which was funded by education recruitment specialists, Supply Desk.
