How an app and 3 simple words got one Londoner out of a tricky medical emergency
When one Londoner got into a bit of trouble after she fell off her horse, a passer-by used an unexpected app to help direct emergency services to their exact location.
It’s called ‘what3words’ and maps out the entire world in 3 metre squared plots and allocates 3 unique words to each combination.
According to the app 85% of the police force across the UK use and have access to this technology.
Tanya spoke to Dorothy about how she used the app and how it helped her in a tricky situation after she fell off her horse in Ruislip.
