The RNLI reminds Londoners to stay safe while swimming

With the school summer holidays starting, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution are reminding families in London to take care during the hot weather – whether they are heading to the coast or looking to cool down in the capital.

It comes as new figures from the RNLI show that children under the age of 13 were the most assisted age group by lifeguards.

Gabbi Batchelor, the Water Safety Education Manager for the south east and London, told us more.
