The story of London poker player Stevie Thomas
Now do you know your backgammon from your five card stud?
One Londoner who did was the late Stevie Thomas was born in Muswell Hill in 1961 who played his first poker game at the age of 10.
He went on to become one of the strongest five card stud players in the world, playing many of the best-known names in the industry.
A book about his life at the poker table has just been published and his son Max Thomas joined London Live to give us an idea of what readers can expect from funny tales, exotic locations and the realisation that some people really will bet on anything!
