Tube network set to be fully 4G and 5G connected by the end of 2024

The underground network is set to be fully connected by the end of 2024, making it possible for passengers to use 4G and 5G while on the tube.

Final testing is underway at some of central London’s busiest stations, including Camden Town, Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road.

Ken Ranger, chief operating officer of BAI UK, the company delivering connectivity across the capital, told Alicia more.
