‘I’m Still Here’ documentary explores homelessness in London lockdown
A powerful documentary about homelessness in the capital has been released, highlighting the work of the charity Under One Sky.
At the start of the Covid lockdowns in 2020, the Government told the nation to stay at home – but for those who didn’t have a home, they felt ignored and abandoned on the deserted streets of London.
In response, volunteers from Under One Sky came out in force with a desire to help the people living on the streets around them – and it was all captured in the documentary ‘I’m Still Here’.
Helena Wadia spoke to the presenter, co-director and producer of the film, Elizabeth Healey, alongside trustee of the charity Julia Lalla-Maharajh, to find out more about the communities that came together to help.
‘I’m Still Here’ is screening on YouTube for free, and 100% of the profits raised from the donations given after viewing the film will go directly to Under One Sky.
