Fears for more flash floods in London

A flood expert says Londoners should be prepared to see more flash flood events as a result of climate change, and an increase in paved gardens and driveways.

The capital saw its second major series of flash flood events in two weeks on Sunday, with people seen wading through potentially contaminated water.

Simon Crowther says events like these are likely to increase, and that Londoners need to do more to protect their homes, and potential their lives. He’s been speaking to James.
