Ella’s Kitchen CEO encourages children to ‘play’ with their food

Figures released this week by the charity Diabetes UK show the devastating impact that poor nutrition is having on the health of the nation’s children.

Of those who are 5-10 years old, only 18% eat the recommended five portions of fruit and veg a day, and 29% eat less than one portion – a situation likely to be exacerbated by the growing cost-of-living crisis.

Talking about what potential policy changes are needed and looking for solutions – including encouraging sensory food play – is the CEO of Ella’s Kitchen, Mark Cuddigan.
