Jake Quickenden tells his personal story for Sarcoma Cancer Awareness Month

July marks Sarcoma Awareness Month and charity Sarcoma UK are launching a campaign to raise awareness of the cancer.

It’s the third most common cancer in children in the UK with over 5,000 diagnoses a year but only 1 in 10 actually know of the cancer.

Well the singer and TV personality Jake Quickenden is now an ambassador for the charity – after having a very personal connection.

His brother passed away from Osteosarcoma at the age of 19, with his dad dying from cancer four years earlier.

You can find out more about the campaign on the Sarcoma UK website.

Henry spoke with Jake about his story and this month’s awareness campaign.
